1)Description of Worm Gear Set
Worm gear is a mechanical component that uses the interaction force between meshing tooth surfaces to achieve force
and motion transfer, and is subjected to a variety of loads in the working process.

3)Working Principle of Worm Gear Set
When the worm gear rotates, its helical tooth surface pushes the worm gear tooth surface, and the force is transmitted through the tooth contact.
The direction and magnitude of the force varies according to the helical direction of the worm and the transmission ratio,
generating both axial and radial forces, which need to be borne by the corresponding bearings and support structures.

It is used for hydraulic pump drive of construction machinery, hoisting mechanism of port machinery, speed booster box of large wind turbine, etc.
