1) Description of Double Helical Gear
Double helical gears are gear structures composed of two helical gears with opposite helical directions and equal helical angles, and the two helical gears are symmetrically distributed on the same hub, forming a "human" shape or symmetrical spiral tooth layout.
2) Feature of Double Helical Gear
Completely cancel the axial force, because the spiral direction of the two helical gears is opposite, the generated axial force is balanced with each other, and there is no need for additional axial positioning device; The meshing process has a very high degree of coincidence, long contact time and uniform force of the gear teeth, and the transmission stability far exceeds that of single helical gears and spur gears, and the vibration and noise are significantly reduced.
3) Working Principle
The power is transmitted to the double helical gear through the input shaft, the gear teeth are engaged with the mating gear at a symmetrical helix angle, and the axial force generated by the left tooth and the reverse axial force generated by the right tooth cancel each other, and only the radial force of the effective transmission torque is retained, so as to achieve stable power transmission without axial force interference.
