Transmission Gear Shaft Description

From a structural and functional integration perspective, a transmission gear shaft is a drive component designed

and manufactured as an integrated unit combining gears and shafts, enabling dual functions of power transmission

and torque bearing without requiring additional connecting components.

Working Principle

The drive gear shaft is secured to the equipment frame via support structures (e.g., bearings) at both ends.

When the drive-end gear shaft rotates, its teeth engage with the driven gear or gear shaft. Through the forces acting

between the tooth surfaces, rotational motion and torque are transmitted directly via the shaft to the next transmission component.

The integrated structure eliminates sliding or loosening losses between the gear and shaft.
